Ferda

Terms of Service

Last updated 8 September 2026

The short version. Be 17 or older. Don't harass anyone. A cheers is a paid message and it is spent whether or not somebody answers. Ferda Gold renews weekly through Apple until you cancel it.

Agreeing to these terms

Using Ferda means accepting what is written here. If you do not accept it, do not use the app. Ferda is operated by Jolt Apps.

Who can use Ferda

You must be at least 17 years old. Ferda is about alcohol and is rated accordingly. You must also be old enough to drink legally where you are before you use it to log drinking.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give accurate information, keep your device secure, and do not impersonate anybody else. One person, one account.

What you post

You keep ownership of your photos and messages. By posting them you give us permission to store them and show them to other people using Ferda, which is the only way the app can work. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Do not post anything illegal, anything involving somebody under 17, anything sexually explicit, anything hateful, or anything you do not have the right to share. Do not post photographs of other people who have not agreed to appear.

How you treat people

No harassment, threats, or repeated unwanted contact. Every account can be reported and blocked from the content itself, and every report is reviewed. We may remove content or end an account for breaking this section, without notice where somebody's safety is at stake.

Two rules exist in the product to back this up: if somebody ignores a cheers from you, you cannot send them another; and you cannot send a second cheers to somebody who has not answered the first.

Ferda Gold and cheers

A cheers is a message you pay to send to somebody who has not agreed to hear from you. Sending one requires an active Ferda Gold subscription, which carries unlimited cheers.

Location and Nearby

If you allow location access, your check-ins carry the place they were posted and can appear on the Nearby feed of people around you. Location is optional, and Settings → Hide me from Nearby keeps you off that feed while leaving the rest of the app working.

Drinking

Ferda records drinking; it does not encourage it, measure it medically, or tell you whether you are fit to do anything. The drunk meter is something you say about yourself, not a measurement. Never drive after drinking. If drinking is causing you harm, speak to a doctor or a support service where you live.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. Some records, such as reports of abuse, may be kept afterwards where there is a legitimate reason to.

No warranty, and what we are liable for

Ferda is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we are not responsible for what other people post or do. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Ferda after that means accepting it.
